Inspiration from an email forward!!

I just came back from a hike with my young womens group! One of the leader's boys went with us and I raced him to the top and to the bottom. We were the first ones up and down! :P It was really fun.
Well, we're not sure if we're going to move into that house I talked about in my last entry. The people don't want to wait for us to sell our house before we buy theirs! They also have another potential buyer. An agent. But they have given us two weeks--if we sell our house before then, we can buy the other one. I hope we do. I've finally come to terms about moving, and that is the house I want!
So, for my inspirational thought of the week, I am just copy and pasting two things I got in forwards that I really liked and were totally true.

Every night, someone thinks about you before they go to sleep.
At least fifteen people in this world love you.
The only reason someone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
There are at least two people in this world that would die for you.
You mean the world to someone.
Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
When you make the biggest mistake ever, someone good comes from it.
When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look.
Remember the compliments you've received; Forget the rude remarks.

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl, Shelby. She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country. Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby, and said, "Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today."
After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly. "Oh," she said, "on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together."

About Me

Well, as I said in the "About Me" section of my profile, I'm fifteen years old and there's six kids in my family - three boys and three girls including me. I'm the second oldest in all and the oldest girl. I'll be turning sixteen on the twenty-first of October. I've got dark brown hair, brown eyes and I'm about five feet three inches tall. My hair is naturally very curly but I hate it and straighten it every day.

I really love sports, especially basketball, but my best friend Miranda (a.k.a. Mandy) loves volleyball so I've learned to play that too. I like to run and keep in shape. I run track in the spring (now!). I really really really love music. I play the piano and the flute (though I don't really like those so much), and I sing. My favorite type of music to listen to is punk rock, but I listen to all other types as well. The only thing I don't really like is a lot of country and hard rap. I love acting and being on stage but I like musical theator the best. I am currently in tenth grade in school, a sophomore. I'm pretty good at math (but I hate it), and taking my last math class this year (math 1050).

I'm pretty good at English and writing, and I love writing fantasy stories and am currently working on one. I love talking on the phone and msn messenger, laughing with my friends, young women activities, doing hair or make up with my sister Catia, holidays, getting presents, giving presents, dressing up, shopping, going to dances, wearing new clothes or shoes for the first time (!!! hehehe!!!!), going to movies, ice skating, water skiing (which I suck at!), boating, camping, rollerskating, doodling, and I will try to do anything you could possibly think of! I collect shells, porcelain dolls, and stuffed animals. I love bright things and my room in painted bright blue, my bed spread is blue with clouds and suns one one side and moons and stars on the other (no idea why I'm writing this part! haha!). I am working on getting my whole room covered in glow-in-the-dark stars.

Well . . . . I'm good at convincing people of things and getting my way. People say I can be very tactful and even manipulative. And bratty. When I'm in a bad mood (haha). I work at Cold Stone Creamery and I love it! Going to work is almost like going to hang out with my friends because it is so much fun. I have so many friends there now and they're all so easy to get along with and cool. I also love all those stupid tip songs they make us learn (haha) and I love throwing ice cream (which I just learned to do last tuesday).

Hmmmm .... now I'm trying to think of some things I hate! I hate shopping for jeans and never finding any that fit right. I hate losing a book when I'm in the middle of reading it. I hate it when girls try too hard to impress the wrong guys. I hate it when people try to change themselves to impress others. And I think that's about all! Buh-bye until my next post!
